• March 2008- December 2009: General Control Office of Colombia. Job Position: leader on health corruption research within Latin American countries.
• September 2006- Currently: FUNDESIC. Founder & General Director. Local NGO which gives support to people living with HIV, as well as those with learning disabilities. It works on the prevention area, in order to reduce the rate of infection, by giving people the tools and knowledge on the ways to stop infection from being spread. FUNDESIC has done research in Colombia and in Africa, where AIDS has had a significant impact within development.

The content of the MA is concerned with cross-cultural understandings of medicine, health and healing, with the experience of pain and illness, and with the political economy of health.
The anthropology department at Sussex University received a research rating of 5/5 in the most recent Research Assessment Exercise, recognising research of international standing. It was also awarded a grade of ‘Excellent’ in an earlier assessment of teaching quality. Due to being a part –time student, the MA was completed in two years.
